This is my A Level textiles coursework which was based on feathers, the first piece I made was a quilted wall hanging and I layered fabrics and burnt them and twisted them to give different textures and effects. I then free stitched over this to hold all the fabric together. The second piece I made was a bodice with bronzed feathers/leaves across it and an embellished piece across half of the bodice, there is also piece which goes along the back diagonally.

I like the way you have used heavy stiching to create the design shape and texture. It is simple but effective. Your work looks really professional!
